• The American higher education system is a beacon of innovation, opportunity, and transformation. • At CollegeVine, we’re on a mission to address challenges and unlock new operational efficiencies. • As an IT & Security Operations Specialist, you’ll help scale our IT infrastructure and security posture. • You’ll architect solutions that ensure everything runs smoothly, from data privacy frameworks to IAM. • Help own and continuously improve our entire security program and foster a culture of security awareness. • This role requires blending software engineering with hands-on IT expertise, ideal for a mid-level professional.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT, security operations, or a closely related engineering role. • Deep familiarity with Okta, Google Workspace, network protocols, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Cloudflare, etc…). • Experience automating workflows using scripting (Python, Bash, Ruby, etc.) or low-code platforms. • Solid grasp of security frameworks and best practices, including data privacy regulations. • A background in computer science or software engineering is strongly preferred. • Fluency in using version control, CI/CD pipelines, and other dev-focused tools to drive reliable IT operations. • Passion for tackling complex, ambiguous challenges with resourcefulness, resilience, and creativity. • Ability to diagnose issues quickly, drill down to root causes, and implement lasting fixes. • Superb communication skills—you can distill highly technical concepts into clear, concise language. • Collaborative spirit with a knack for building strong, trust-based relationships across teams. • A proactive self-starter who takes initiative, drives projects end-to-end, and enjoys full ownership of outcomes. • Comfort with a high level of responsibility in a rapidly evolving environment.
