Description

• Execute the strategy for securing individual donor gifts to Galvanize USA and Galvanize Action. • Handle mid-level donor portfolio and steward relationships. • Identify and cultivate connections with prospective donors. • Solicit gifts and renewals through various campaigns and events. • Collaborate with development team for donor data maximization and effectiveness of fundraising strategies. • Travel occasionally for in-person events and team gatherings.

Requirements

• A minimum of three years of fundraising experience working with all levels of donors in nonprofit or political organizations is required. • Political fundraising experience is highly preferred! • Strong writing and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Demonstrates a very high level of organization and strong ability to prioritize tasks. • A clear understanding of 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and political organizations’ legal issues/structures is preferred. • Commitment to the organization’s mission and an understanding of the current civil, social, and political landscape. • Available to travel for in-person fundraising events and meetings and team gatherings. • Confidence with various tech tools: Asana (or similar), G Suite, NGP VAN/EveryAction, Slack, and Zoom.
