Description
• Gooch & Housego is a leading manufacturer of critical photonic components. • Seeking a Technical Sales lead for Life Sciences Division. • Engage with customers to develop solutions for applications requiring injection molding, coating, and diamond turning. • Focus on polymer optics in medical and industrial markets. • Drive customer satisfaction and significant growth for molded consumables.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related scientific discipline. • 5+ years commercial sales experience covering injection molded components and services within the medical, defense, industrial, & life science sectors. • Experience selling high volume consumables as a standalone product and/or injection molded parts within instrumentation companies highly desired. • Existing knowledge and historical relationships with mid-Tier and Tier one diagnostic companies preferred. • Educated or experience in scientific injection molding principals, process optimization of plastic optics highly desired. • Proficient in MS Office and Outlook. • Project/program management experience is a plus.
