• Assess current state of workforce and identify areas of alignment, overlap and skill gaps. • Develop and implement strategies to improve organizational performance, structure, and culture, ensuring alignment with the university strategic priorities. • Assess and recommend improvements in organizational design and systems to enhance overall productivity. • Lead efforts to ensure that the business and its employees adapt successfully transformations in communication plans, and training programs to minimize disruption and support a smooth transition during periods of change. • Lead university wide, departmental shifts in workforce planning and talent management with a focus on a skills first approach. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and remove obstacles that may impact project success. • Recommend new approaches to organizational effectiveness, advocating for change and championing team efforts to senior leadership. • Drives change management initiatives related to the PMO, promoting a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement within the People Team. • Leverage data analytics and process improvement methodologies (such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile) to identify and address inefficiencies within the organization. • Collaborate with executive partners and People Team functions to deliver cohesive and integrated recommendations. • Lead teams implementing critical People Team projects and process improvement initiatives. • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Ten years of progressive experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Organizational Psychology. • Three years of experience leading organization effectiveness in complex organizations. • Change Management Leadership and Project Management expertise in methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile. • High level of emotional intelligence and radical collaboration skills. • Ability to effectively communicate key messages, persuade decision-makers in peer-to-peer environments and in larger presentations to university wide stakeholders.
