Description
• Researching laws and preparing legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda • Rendering opinions on liability, damages, and value as requested by the Claims Department • Preparing and handling pleadings, motions, and discovery, including defending by trial or dispositive hearing
Requirements
• 2 to 6+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury REQUIRED • Juris Doctor degree REQUIRED • Admission to the New Jersey Bar REQUIRED • Must be licensed in good standing to practice law in New Jersey • Must be able to travel as required • Must be able to document files in a clear, concise, professional written manner • Must be able to follow complex instructions and resolve conflicts • Must have strong organization/priority setting and multi-tasking skills • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
