📋 Description
• GEICO is looking for Counsel to defend lawsuits filed in Texas courts • Researching laws and preparing legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda • Rendering opinions on liability, damages, and value • Preparing and handling pleadings, motions, and discovery
🎯 Requirements
• 7-9+ years in related field litigation experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury REQUIRED • Juris Doctor degree REQUIRED • Admission to the Texas Bar REQUIRED • Must be licensed in good standing to practice law in Texas • Must be able to travel as required • Must be able to document files clearly and concisely • Must be able to follow complex instructions and resolve conflicts • Must have strong organization/priority setting and multi-tasking skills
