• GEICO is seeking an experienced FP&A Solution Architect to provide expertise and guidance in supporting the FP&A departments. • This individual will be a key advisor and partner to Finance to redesign the way they use their technologies in managing GEICO’s business. • The Senior FP&A Solution Architect will report to the Senior Director of Finance Technologies and will provide systems solutions, functional process recommendations, and work with multiple Finance and Technology experts to support the systems strategy for the company’s Finance Planning and Management Reporting applications. • The individual in this role will need to be able to partner with the engineering teams in the establishment and implementation of new or revised systems and programs.

Requirements

• 20+ years of Finance Systems experience with industry leading ERP solutions (e.g. implementing and supporting PeopleSoft; Oracle EBS; Oracle Cloud; Hyperion; Workday; or SAP ) • 10+ years of lead experience in guiding teams in support of Finance Systems • 10+ years supporting some of the following system types: Enterprise Profitability Management; Budgeting & Planning system; an Enterprise Hierarchy Management system; a Unit Cost Management system; or various Analytical Reporting tools • 5+ years working with an Enterprise Profitability Management system (e.g. OFSAA; PS EPM; Apptio ; etc) • Deep Finance domain expertise to be able to work with senior Finance leaders to interpret their process and functional needs into system solutions • Strong understanding of Accounting process and Management reporting philosophies to partner with Finance Leaders • Ability to communicate and work directly with leaders across Technology and Finance • Sound understanding of project management techniques, methodologies, and best practices. • Strong problem-solving abilities • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment • Knowledge and experience with the software development life cycle • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
