Description

• provide counseling on IP-related and AI related issues • assist with managing Zillow’s IP portfolios • guide employees through USPTO filings and patent applications • file trademark applications • ensure proper licensing of Zillow Group's IP portfolio • provide legal support on issues related to AI, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets • review and advise on AI and IP issues in online terms and conditions • give sound, practical advice to help accomplish company objectives

Requirements

• 3+ years of IP law experience • some in-house counsel experience preferred • patent drafting and prosecution experience is a plus • experience supervising a company’s IP portfolio • experience providing advice on business implementation of AI products • broad-based experience supporting business teams in the internet, technology, and/or media industries • responsive project manager • skilled at communicating with business partners • aptitude for innovative and results-oriented problem solving • good judgment and risk evaluation • conscientious and detail-oriented • self-starter that proposes creative and practical solutions
