Description

• Cision is seeking a full-time attorney to join its Legal Department. • We are seeking an attorney with strong transactional experience to work closely with sales staff, marketing teams and other business groups within Cision on contract matters.

Requirements

• JD degree from an ABA accredited institution and active Bar membership • 5+ years of legal experience, preferably with 3-5 years software and services contract drafting and negotiation experience in the technology field • Familiarity with legal/licensing concepts such as intellectual property, limitations of liability, indemnification, etc. • Familiarity with technology and/or software-as-a-service (SaaS) licensing a plus • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office • Ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines in a service oriented and sales-driven environment • Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to interact effectively and work diplomatically with individuals at all levels within the organization • Organized, efficient and able to handle multiple tasks with ease and professionalism • Willingness to master new and unfamiliar areas of practice • Preferred but not required: Notary public
