Description

β€’ Responsible for developing the offsite water management category into new, non-core business sectors. β€’ Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities in RMI, local authority, civils, residential, and MMC. β€’ Conduct market research to understand industry, customer needs, and competitor activities. β€’ Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. β€’ Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for sales growth and profitability. β€’ Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers to penetrate commercial contractors. β€’ Provide ongoing support and coaching to Territory Sales Managers. β€’ Work with the wider team to align business development efforts with company goals.

Requirements

β€’ Excellent knowledge of the M&E marketplace with a proven record in large scale construction projects. β€’ Capability to handle technical dialogue at all levels and experience in presenting to groups. β€’ Record of working with internal departments to identify new business leads. β€’ Ability to quickly become a technical specialist in AVS Water Management systems. β€’ Understanding of project stages and decision-making processes in construction. β€’ Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or Sales Manager in construction or related sectors. β€’ Knowledge of prefabricated drainage and water supply products and applications. β€’ Ability to develop and execute business development strategies for sales growth. β€’ Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills with a record of supporting sales teams. β€’ Strong networking and relationship-building skills with key stakeholders. β€’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. β€’ Excellent communication and presentation skills with impactful delivery. β€’ Proficient in CRM software for managing customer relationships.
