Description

• Responsible for developing the offsite water management category into new, non-core business sectors. • Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities in RMI, local authority, civils, residential, and MMC. • Conduct market research to understand industry, customer needs, and competitor activities. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for sales growth and profitability. • Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers to penetrate commercial contractors. • Provide ongoing support and coaching to Territory Sales Managers. • Work with the wider team to align business development efforts with company goals.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of the M&E marketplace with a proven record in large scale construction projects. • Capability to handle technical dialogue at all levels and experience in presenting to groups. • Record of working with internal departments to identify new business leads. • Ability to quickly become a technical specialist in AVS Water Management systems. • Understanding of project stages and decision-making processes in construction. • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or Sales Manager in construction or related sectors. • Knowledge of prefabricated drainage and water supply products and applications. • Ability to develop and execute business development strategies for sales growth. • Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills with a record of supporting sales teams. • Strong networking and relationship-building skills with key stakeholders. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Excellent communication and presentation skills with impactful delivery. • Proficient in CRM software for managing customer relationships.
