Description
• Building and leading a team to manage the company’s general ledger, financial reporting, accounts payable, payroll, treasury and tax functions • Leading the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements, account reconciliations and variance analysis • Providing internal customer service and accounting guidance to mental health workforce • Implementing, evaluating, documenting and continuously improving accounting policies, procedures and controls • Assisting in implementation and enhancement of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and processes • Managing cash flow and treasury services • Overseeing risk management and insurance programs • Responsible for annual audit fieldwork and interface with external auditors • Researching & interpreting GAAP issues & drafting technical accounting memos
Requirements
• 5+ years professional experience as a Corporate Controller • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required • BS in Accounting or Finance • 10 + years of progressive and relevant accounting experience • Extensive hands-on accounting & financial reporting experience required, particularly in a multi-site retail or healthcare environment preferred • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) • System/ERP implementation experience required, Workday experience a plus • Ability to work under pressure, often in a deadline driven environment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Superior attention to detail • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Proven track record of successfully managing staff and developing accounting processes
