• About Lumen: Commercial building owners face mounting pressure to decarbonize from investors, tenants, and regulators. • Lumen Energy enables commercial building owners with 10s - 1000s of properties to systematically and easily cut carbon and make money from decarbonization. • The Director, Project Finance will support financing activities for Lumen originated renewable energy projects, including solar, energy storage, and EV-charging projects located at commercial real estate sites across the U.S. • This role will involve financial modeling, analysis, deal structuring, diligence, and project management to ensure the successful funding of projects with investors. • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, transaction execution, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for innovating in renewable energy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project finance, preferably in the renewable energy sector. • Strong understanding of project finance structures, including debt, equity, and tax equity. • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Willingness to work in a dynamic start up environment and innovate in renewable energy project financing. • Passion for renewable energy. • While this is a remote position, we have a preference for candidates who can be in person 3 days/week in San Francisco office

Benefits
