β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales/business development role within the customs or freight industry. β’ Strong understanding of US Customs brokerage and Air/Ocean freight supply chain processes. β’ Strong network in the industry and proven success in securing high-value clients. β’ Strong entrepreneurial skills and ability to independently identify, pursue and secure new opportunities. β’ Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels. β’ Highly self-motivated with strong planning, organizational, and goal-oriented skills. β’ Actively or willing to engage in social selling techniques. β’ A post-secondary education in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or International Trade is preferred. β’ Industry-specific certifications like Licensed Customs Broker (LCB), Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), Freight Designation, or Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) are considered assets.
