Description
• The Network Engineer plans, designs, and implements network systems. • Responsible for providing consultation and execution of network design and administration. • Reviews and assesses user needs and trends, conducts research and recommends network technology solutions. • Accountable for all aspects of network systems design, implementation, maintenance, evaluation, documentation and repair activities.
Requirements
• 4+ years’ experience in Network systems design and administration • Data center platform experience with Cisco ACI or enterprise firewall experience • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues using tools such as TCPDUMP, FW Monitor, Packet Capture, or Wireshark • Must have extensive network operations knowledge and experience. • Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance. • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately. • High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy. • Participation in on call rotation encompassing evenings and weekends occurring approximately every 6 weeks scheduled in advance • Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience IT related field
