β’ About Us β’ At Methven, we are passionate about harnessing the power of water to create innovative and beautifully designed bathroom solutions. β’ Founded in 1886, Methven has grown into a world-renowned brand known for its award-winning showers, taps, and valves. β’ With a strategic focus on superior solutions for water, we strive to make life better through sustainability and top-notch customer service. β’ As part of our ongoing journey to greatness, we are looking for a dedicated Area Sales Manager for the North East region of the UK. β’ This position is pivotal in building and maintaining long-term customer relationships while driving sales performance and market share for our brands, Methven and Deva. β’ Your Key Responsibilities: β’ Manage, develop, and expand the customer base in the North East region for both Methven and Deva brands. β’ Implement and review customer-specific pricing strategies to maximize profit margins. β’ Prepare and regularly review business plans to align with corporate goals and performance metrics. β’ Analyse sales data and prepare detailed sales reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. β’ Provide accurate sales forecasts and key market insights to inform strategy. β’ Plan and execute marketing campaigns tailored to the needs of the customer base. β’ Maintain effective communication regarding marketing and public relations activities with assigned accounts.
β’ Proven experience in sales management or a related field with a track record of meeting sales targets. β’ Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. β’ Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. β’ Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. β’ Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with a diverse range of clients. β’ Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen. β’ Analytical skills for data interpretation and strategic decision-making. β’ Full UK driving license is required for travel to client locations. β’ Knowledge of the Tap and Shower market is desirable but not essential. β’ Technical understanding of product features and benefits preferred.
