Description

• The Merchandising Director is responsible for developing and executing strategies to deliver assigned sales and profit goals. • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team within a fast-moving environment to develop differentiated and impactful customer-driven assortment strategies. • This collaborative and strategic leader will drive a clear vision for future growth with strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• 10+ yrs merchandising experience in a specialty retail environment, children’s apparel strongly preferred • Knowledgeable of trend, aesthetic positioning, and assortment planning ability • Demonstrated success in developing profitable merchandise strategies • Thorough understanding of merchandise financial planning and key metrics • Advanced analytical skills, data-driven, and able to develop and articulate insights to move business forward • Ability to problem solve • Strong listening skills, and excellent verbal and written communicator • Strong interpersonal skills; and have demonstrated ability to communicate throughout an organization • Effective working independently as well as in a team environment • Able to travel, both domestically and internationally
