📋 Description
• Register business payroll tax accounts for federal, state, and local tax authorities • Register businesses for State required FMLA and Disability • Process tax registration documents accurately, prioritizing workloads and completing tasks in a timely manner • Maintain accurate client records for all tax registrations and related documentation • Maintain detailed and accurate records of time billed to clients
🎯 Requirements
• 4+ years of experience in payroll tax registration or a similar role • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations • Prior experience working in a multi-client environment is required • Strong knowledge of tax compliance and regulations as well keeping current with changes in payroll tax laws • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Collaborative team player • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines • Proficient in MS Office and payroll software
