Description

• We are looking for a Field Territory Sales Representative to join our Industrial Forklift business development team. • The Field Territory Sales Representative position is responsible for developing new, used and rental sales strategies to attract and retain clients in a pre-determined assigned territory. • This is a fast-paced position that needs an experienced, driven individual with a proven track record for establishing, building and maintaining relationships. • Understands the Companies products as well as competitive products; can specify, recommend and sell material handling equipment. • Be the main point of contact between the company and several customer accounts for Industrial Forklifts and Allied equipment. • Maintain a cadence of communicating and/or visiting with customers. • Drive growth and retention among our customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed. • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads. • Understand customer outcomes and communicate account reviews by analyzing customer fleet metrics such as cost per running hour, equipment age, rental usage. • Collaborate closely with Customer Service Manager & Service Technicians to support customers, renewals, and expansion opportunities. • Attend meetings, sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developments. • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience working with a CRM product. • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management. • Track record of maintaining and over-achieving benchmarks and quotas. • Verifiable analytical skills and experience in making sound business decisions. • Self-motivated and driven. • Time management and attention to detail. • Must reside in the assigned territory. • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
