• Owning the full sales cycle • Responsible for the entire range of the Lonza Cell Biology and Transfection product groups • Increase sales by actively selling end to end solutions to partners in the Pharma & Biotech sector • Delivers on sales targets and manages the sales funnel from new opportunity generation through closing • Manages all sales activities in the designated territory (identification, acquisition, expansion, and renewal) • Prospects new customers and accounts within the territory • Develops product knowledge capabilities • Understand the customer's specific application and proposes the best Lonza solution • Organize, plan and schedule time for effective account and territory coverage • Manage interactions proactively to drive customer satisfaction • Coordinates support resources within Lonza to meet customer needs • Shares knowledge about applications and trends with the team
• BSc, MSc or PhD degree in Life Sciences • Strong communication and solution-oriented skills • Working understanding of cell culture and assay setup • Hands on Industry experience within a Business Development environment is of advantage • Possess the ability to work autonomously from a home-based office • Fluency in English a must, a second European language is of advantage
