• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, science or related field • Minimum 13 years experience in communications either in-house or with an agency with at least five years in a senior leadership capacity. • Extensive experience leading strategic communication strategies within the healthcare, medtech, pharma, digital health and life sciences fields. • Demonstrated experience leading and developing strategic growth plans through business development, full cycle new biz pitch leadership, and overarching growth strategy across target health markets. • Experience with social media influencer engagement, content campaigns, and media coverage amplification • Demonstrated experience and leadership in managing comprehensive, insights-driven communications campaigns across channels that advance an organization’s mission and goals • Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output • Experience in building, managing, mentoring, and coaching a team of communications specialists • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills • Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs • Experience setting up measurement programs and measuring the ongoing ROI of communications activities
