📋 Description
• Hims & Hers are seeking an outstanding Regulatory Counsel to join our growing, collaborative Legal team. • You will have the opportunity to provide teams from across the company with actionable legal advice on various healthcare and pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations impacting the products and services offered through Hims & Hers. • You will get to work on interesting and novel issues that arise from the intersection of healthcare, technology, and e-commerce.
🎯 Requirements
• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and current active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction • 4+ years of healthcare regulatory experience • Extensive experience with healthcare laws and regulations, particularly in the areas of telehealth compliance/operations and digital health • Familiarity and experience interpreting and advising on state and federal laws, rules, and regulations applicable to facilitating care delivery services and operations, including knowledge related to telehealth technologies (i.e., modality), corporate practice of medicine (CPOM), state-by-state professional practice standards, credentialing, provider compensation, managing board complaints, and more • Ability to provide support to the customer experience team to ensure aspects of customer interactions are consistent with health care regulatory laws • Strong record of providing creative, solution-focused advice • Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Strong time management, project prioritization, and management skills • Experience interacting with licensing/regulatory authorities such as Boards of Medicine or Boards of Nursing is a plus
