• Responsible for external activities, collaboration within Hitachi Energy, and coordination across the Hitachi group companies. • Represent the company externally with customers and at industry events. • Drive internal alignment within Hitachi Energy defining value propositions and developing data center strategy. • Collaborate with analysts to size the market for HE technologies. • Build strong relationships at senior levels with key customers and stakeholders. • Engage with planning departments of data center customers to identify upcoming market changes and projects. • Lead Hitachi Energy participation in industry trade shows and conferences. • Influence regulatory and policy environment through associations based on education and experience. • Drive strategic marketing of the segment to ensure swift adoption of Hitachi Energy offerings.

Requirements

• 15+ years in the datacenter industry with specialization in energy specific solutions. • Exceptional understanding of and insight into the Datacenter segment North America. • Broad knowledge of the various business models (e.g. Hyperscale, Colo, Edge…) that drive the revenue stream of this segment. • Proven success in bringing together appropriate team members across a matrix organization for exploration, developing new solutions and pursuit of complex new opportunities. • Strong commercial expertise and communication skills. • Disciplined in process to show and report updates as well as educating stakeholder on progress, while soliciting inputs. • Bachelor’s degree. • Expected travel needs up to 50%, including some international travel.
