• Analyze reports, project trends, and interpret financial statements and reports. • Coordinate annual audits, budgeting processes, and finance-related tasks. • Evaluate current accounting software and procedures for necessary updates. • Prepare End of Month adjustments/reconciliation for various organizations. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. • Enter invoices for payment, handle check processing, and submission. • Maintain the General Ledger, postings, and balances in QuickBooks. • Manage payroll process and payment execution. • Prepare financial reports for the board and individual teams. • Handle payroll tax forms and necessary deposits, including year-end preparations. • Manage donations and fund distributions, ensuring confidentiality. • Collaborate on program budgets and track spending for alignment with goals. • Coordinate financial audits and tax return filings.

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge of general and non-profit accounting methods, principles, and practices. • Hands-on experience in accounts payable and receivable. • Knowledge of trial balance, profit and loss statements, balance sheets and month-end processes. • Ability to function as part of an interactive team while demonstrating initiative to achieve Center’s goals and advance the Center’s mission. • Excellent written accounting communications skills for grant financial reports. • Attention to detail, communication, record keeping. • Ability to make informed decisions and present reports to management and board members. • Ability to develop strong working relationships with, and build consensus among, a diverse array of stakeholders within the organization and between the organization and community. • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability. • Ability to work well with faculty, program managers and researchers required.
