📋 Description

• Support internal consulting teams through proactive engagement • Manage contracted state lobbyists in selected states • Support collaboration and internal communications among teams • Track state and federal policy developments • Facilitate information sharing, analysis, and strategy conversations internally • Participate at selected policymaker-focused conferences • Represent the firm with policymakers and coalition partners

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred • 5+ years of relevant experience in state government affairs • Experience in advocacy work with associations and other stakeholders • Experience managing and working in multiple states required • Experience working with and managing contract lobbyists required • Experience with federal policy, Congress, and CMS preferred • Experience with insurance, healthcare, or Medicaid policy preferred but not required • Strong oral and written communication skills • Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills • Highly efficient, flexible, and motivated • Excellent analytical and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and in teams • Ability to interact professionally with team members and company leadership
