Description

• Sell and promote IDEXX water testing products in the UK and Ireland • Work closely with customers to understand their needs • Identify new business opportunities while building rapport • Ensure sales and revenue goals are met through relationships • Carry out in-field training and provide technical support • Participate in the development of forecasts, budgets and marketing strategy • Encourage initiative and creativity combined with disciplined execution • Strong persuasive skills and ability to learn product knowledge

Requirements

• Proven successful experience in sales • Background in life sciences (preferably biology, chemistry, engineering or physics) • Experience in Water Micro-Biology or water testing (advantage) • Minimum 5-years work experience in sales • Experience working with key accounts and networking within larger organisations • Ability to promote ideas persuasively • Highly motivated and great at problem solving • Flexibility for reactive travel and motivation for a varied work week (expected travel 80%) • Fantastic organizational skills and time management • Outstanding communication skills across several stakeholders • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
