Description

• The Locums Recruiter identifies and qualifies healthcare providers for VISTA’s clients. • Utilizes a consultative sales approach to assist with placement of healthcare providers. • Sources, recruits, qualifies, screens, and assists in placements using various methods. • Establishes long-term relationships with providers for repeat business and referrals. • Develops marketing strategies to create and support business. • Educates providers on VISTA’s offerings to enhance their goals. • Guides providers through the application, credentials review, and contracting processes. • Works in a team-based setting to identify business priorities and targets recruiting efforts.

Requirements

• Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Proven ability in the Recruiter role for preferably 2 years. • Internal applicates must have Physician recruiting experience. • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn proprietary software. • Ability and willingness to cover interim staffing gaps. • Willingness to expand working knowledge of the locum tenens business and stay informed about market and competitive issues through research and professional networking. • Willingness to take classes and participate in learning opportunities, both within and outside the company. • Ability to cross-train and back up any member of the team when necessary. • Ability to understand and meet performance metrics as outlined. • Ability to maintain a work schedule that allows successful contact with healthcare professionals via telephone. • Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures. • Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task. • Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task. • Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines. • Ability to work independently with minimal direction. • Ability to communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing. • Ability to adapt to change in the workplace. • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
