Description

• The Regional Vice President, Sales is responsible for the Ahold account team, which is national in scope. • Achieves results by guiding, mentoring, coaching, supporting, and empowering front-line sales leaders. • Oversee a sales team and engage with teams to develop account-specific and national strategies and growth objectives that achieve revenue goals. • Support the National Brand and Ahold sales team in developing and executing specific deal strategies and negotiations. • Ensure the sales team regularly conducts performance assessments and that their sellers are aware of their career progression path.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field required • 10+ years of experience in sales or marketing with at least 6 years successfully managing a sales team; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position required • Demonstrated experience in expanding business relationships in a highly competitive environment required • Strong decision making, knowing when to leverage additional resources to move deals past obstacles • Proficient with Salesforce.com • Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Suite producing professional business correspondence, proposals and reports
