Description
• Design and drive InP based laser and optical amplifier development • Collaborate on the final integration into silicon photonic transceiver chips • Perform tolerance analysis for components performance, power, area, and reliability • Analyze test data, identify performance gaps and drive improvement plans
Requirements
• Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related fields • 5+ years in design, simulation, and analysis of distributed feedback lasers or amplifiers • 5+ years developing III-V based lasers or amplifiers in high volume manufacturing • 2+ years designing test chips using Schematic Driven Layout (optional) • 2+ years JMP or other statistical data analysis software (optional) • 2+ years Matlab programming (optional)
