Description

• Intersect Power seeks a Director of Water Development to oversee water management for utility-scale projects. • Responsible for water sourcing, delivery, and disposal ensuring sustainability practices. • Collaborates with various teams and stakeholders, reporting to the SVP of Development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Management, Water Law, Environmental Planning, or a related field. • 8+ years of proven experience in water development, ideally within the context of energy projects or other large, municipal infrastructure projects. • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks related to water management and environmental compliance. • Strong understanding of technical requirements related to water treatment, conveyance, storage, and disposal. • Excellent project management, negotiations, and leadership skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders. • Experience managing engineering design projects & experience with contractors and construction projects. • Experience with surface- and groundwater rights & permitting, particularly in California, Texas, and Oklahoma. • Commitment to environmental sustainability and clean energy initiatives.
