β’ Intersect Power seeks a Director of Water Development to oversee water management for utility-scale projects. β’ Responsible for water sourcing, delivery, and disposal ensuring sustainability practices. β’ Collaborates with various teams and stakeholders, reporting to the SVP of Development.
β’ Bachelorβs or advanced degree in Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Management, Water Law, Environmental Planning, or a related field. β’ 8+ years of proven experience in water development, ideally within the context of energy projects or other large, municipal infrastructure projects. β’ Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks related to water management and environmental compliance. β’ Strong understanding of technical requirements related to water treatment, conveyance, storage, and disposal. β’ Excellent project management, negotiations, and leadership skills. β’ Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders. β’ Experience managing engineering design projects & experience with contractors and construction projects. β’ Experience with surface- and groundwater rights & permitting, particularly in California, Texas, and Oklahoma. β’ Commitment to environmental sustainability and clean energy initiatives.
