Description

β€’ Intersect Power seeks a Director of Water Development to oversee water management for utility-scale projects. β€’ Responsible for water sourcing, delivery, and disposal ensuring sustainability practices. β€’ Collaborates with various teams and stakeholders, reporting to the SVP of Development.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Management, Water Law, Environmental Planning, or a related field. β€’ 8+ years of proven experience in water development, ideally within the context of energy projects or other large, municipal infrastructure projects. β€’ Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks related to water management and environmental compliance. β€’ Strong understanding of technical requirements related to water treatment, conveyance, storage, and disposal. β€’ Excellent project management, negotiations, and leadership skills. β€’ Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders. β€’ Experience managing engineering design projects & experience with contractors and construction projects. β€’ Experience with surface- and groundwater rights & permitting, particularly in California, Texas, and Oklahoma. β€’ Commitment to environmental sustainability and clean energy initiatives.
