📋 Description

• The Director of Manufacturing Strategy will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the manufacturing strategy for Iovance. • This role focuses on leading and overseeing high-priority strategic and operational projects and initiatives that shape the future of Iovance, including capacity expansions, process and operational improvements, technology upgrades, and other critical projects aligned with the company’s business goals. • The Director will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of these strategic projects to meet the company growth objectives in context of evolving market demands and regulatory requirements. • The Director of Manufacturing Strategy will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders. • Occasional travel may be required to manufacturing facilities, supplier sites, and partner locations.

🎯 Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field. • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) preferred. • Experience: At least 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing or operations management within the biopharmaceutical or related industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or strategic role. • Experience in strategic management consulting is preferred. • Strong knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, technologies, and regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, EMA). • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with multiple departments. • Financial acumen and experience managing project budgets. • Strategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
