• JMAC Lending has been in business for more than 20 years, providing innovative products and exceptional service. • We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team. • In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing data sets and generating insights that can drive strategic decisions within the organization. • Your work will support various departments by providing timely and accurate reporting and analytics. • Work closely with different business units to understand their data requirements and deliver quality data analysis to meet their needs. • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. • Create and automate reports and dashboards that communicate performance metrics and business insights. • Utilize statistical methods to interpret and analyze data; present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders. • Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data-driven insights. • Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure data integrity and availability for reporting needs. • Maintain thorough documentation of methodologies, processes, and analysis findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably within the financial services or mortgage industry. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and experience with SQL for querying databases. • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and their applications. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a straightforward manner. • Experience with Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
