Description

• Develop and drive core strategies within distinguished event competencies • Specific revenue focus on golf programs • Create and monitor strategies to drive revenue and profit • Provide subject matter oversight and expertise in collaboration with various departments • Design event management tools for the field • Support growth or event retooling as determined by market opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum 10+ years relevant experience and 8+ years team leadership preferred • Minimum 3+ years of progressive Gala/Golf fundraising experience • Working knowledge of Power BI, GiveSmart, Salesforce is required • Excellent understanding of Distinguished Event (golf and gala) products • Deep knowledge of market segments and corresponding market factors • Broad knowledge of the overall structure, program, and services of the American Cancer Society • Extensive experience in collaborating across departments • Seasoned experience in volunteer management and cultivation • Strong understanding of Region operations and structure • Excellent oral, written communications and presentation skills required • Strong experience with community-based event planning and implementation
