Description

• The Salesforce Administrator ensures the reliable operation of Customer Relationship Management systems • Coordinate upgrades and enhancements • Oversee the availability and performance of the production environment • Help improve performance through technology consulting and management of solution design • Manage data integrity and cleanliness within Salesforce • Perform data imports/exports, maintain data security, and enforce data quality standards • Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and configurations within Salesforce • Monitor the health and performance of applications and infrastructure • Maintain necessary backup/restore services • Collaborate with developers and operations teams to identify and resolve technical issues • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance • Support departmental staff and administration with systems solutions that work with Salesforce • Provide ongoing user support, troubleshoot issues, and offer solutions • Set up accounts and user permissions for assigned Salesforce users • Review release notes for vendor upgrades to identify risks and opportunities • Maintain all lower environments ensuring they are in sync with Production • Manage systems associated with Salesforce • Configure and customize Salesforce to meet requirements • Design and implement workflow automation and approval processes • Monitor, recommend, and implement technical process changes • Improve administrative solutions to reduce cost-intensive maintenance • Collaborate with the development team to integrate Salesforce with other applications • Create reports, dashboards, and analytical insights for decision-making • Maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Flosum, or Azure DevOps • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and best practices • Deploy various releases to production and lower environments • Maintain the code repository and the merging of new code

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience, with an understanding of Salesforce's capabilities • Communicate technical information to non-technical partners • Experience with relational databases and data structures • Experience with data management, including data import/export, data cleansing, and data quality best practices • Experience partnering with matrixed based environments, working directly with SCRUM / Kanban teams and project-based needs • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field • 5+ years of experience in lieu of degree acceptable • Professional Certification(s): Salesforce Administrator certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator) • Proficiency in Salesforce Lighting, Salesforce Classic, and other Salesforce module (Sales Could, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) • Experience with a GIT based code repository • Experience with Salesforce.com implementations • Knowledge of project and SCRUM management techniques • Knowledge of application development technologies and methodologies
