📋 Description

• As the General Counsel for DeleteMe, provide legal advice and manage legal risks. • Advise the board of directors on corporate governance best practices. • Maintain corporate records, including minutes and bylaws. • Oversee equity issuance and manage stock option plans. • Draft and negotiate SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements. • Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and act as Data Protection Officer. • Monitor compliance with industry-specific regulations. • Oversee employment law compliance and manage disputes. • Manage the company's intellectual property portfolio. • Handle litigation and perform legal risk assessments. • Support legal due diligence in M&A transactions. • Develop internal policies and conduct training for employees. • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from a reputable law school. • Minimum 10 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on data privacy, technology, or corporate law. • Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations, particularly GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is preferred.
