• Responsible for finding and cultivating opportunities for expansion in new markets and with new customers • Building relationships with existing clients in an attempt to identify new opportunities for revenue generating products and services • Create, negotiate and close new business agreements • Develop and implement new sales strategies to ensure revenue and profitability targets are met • Work within the CRM to track leads, opportunities, contracts and related activities • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and schedule meetings • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives • Attending conferences, meetings and industry events with the intent of expanding industry knowledge and finding new business prospects • Demonstrating basic functionality of all products being sold by Group • Developing quotes, proposals and contracts • Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met • Providing direction to account manager(s) in developing strong client relationships and expanding back-to-base sales • Manage expectations, set realistic goals, and achieve them with internal and external customers • Conduct and manage the sales cycle process from initial contact through to qualification by actively listening and building trust with prospects and understanding their needs • Drive for results by maintaining a high volume of daily prospecting through cold calling and market nurturing activities • Manages time effectively to maximize results

Requirements

• Proven business development manager who is used to working to and achieving targets • Proven track record in sales, business development and winning new business • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads • In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events • Understanding of industry financial metrics and drivers • The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple conflicting priorities to meet strategic deadlines • Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to form real connections with people from diverse professional backgrounds – from skilled labor through to CEOs • The ability to communicate clearly and confidently, both in person and in writing • Socailly adept • Flexible, hands-on approach • Energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic • Excellent attention to detail • Work with honesty and integrity to build trust with client and fellow employees
