Description

• Optimize the consolidation and routing of international military household goods shipments to and from the continental United States. • Deliver quality, on-time packing, shipping, and delivery of military customer household goods. • Implement LEAN tools and techniques for continuous improvement of HomeSafe logistic strategies, processes, and procedures. • Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) /SLAs performance metrics. • Identify trends, determine root cause analysis, implement effective corrective action plans to ensure KPIs/SLA performance metrics are achieved. • Control costs, reduce claims, improve customer satisfaction, and create a positive and safe work environment for employee retention. • Optimize resources supporting International Military Household Goods shipments transportation operations. • Identify and develop business opportunities and partnerships that drive revenue growth, improved efficiencies, and quality service. • Develop and manage international subcontract partner companies’ performance and relationships. • Develop strategic relationships with ocean carriers, port agents, freight forwarders, moving companies to meet capacity scalability, quality of performance, and conformance with HomeSafe Standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation / Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. • Master’s in Transportation Management, Supply Chain Management or MBA degree preferred. • 10+ years of related International Household Goods Moving Services transportation and logistics industry experience. • 3+ years of Director of International Operations of Household Goods Moving Services for Corporate, COD, Military markets. • Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements
