Description

• Kentik is the network observability company. • Our platform is a must-have for the network front line. • Kentik makes sense of network, cloud, host, and container flow, Internet routing, performance tests, and network metrics. • We show network pros what they need to know about their network performance, health, and security. • This role will report directly to the Field CTO. • This candidate will work with some of the best and brightest engineers in the industry. • Architects at Kentik have the opportunity to help shape our product strategy and enable a broad set of use cases by working directly with our prospects and customers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant technical / commercial experience • 3+ years in a technical sales overlay role • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to share previous content • Ability to conduct technical conversations with prospects ranging from staff-level engineers and architects to senior executives • Expertise in cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud providers, such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform • Strong foundational level understanding of core networking technologies like routing, switching, and firewalling • Willingness to travel globally as needed • Nice to haves: Direct experience with one or more network observability suites, existing social media following and recognition as a thought leader in public cloud, comprehensive knowledge and awareness of industry competition, solutions, technologies, and product offerings, experience working in a SaaS environment, experience working in a pre-IPO startup environment
