The ideal candidate has been a part of the sales efforts for other early-stage enterprise software products in an entrepreneurial setting. • The Enterprise Account Executive will be integral to our growth plan and in acquiring new customers. • Kong’s Account Executive will be the primary point of contact and the face of Kong for our prospects. • This role is based in Mumbai, India.
• 5 years or more of experience in selling enterprise software; experience with open source, middleware solutions, and/or infrastructure software is a big plus. • Demonstrated success in selling to large enterprises and Banking and Financial Services, particularly to senior-level executives and across multiple departments. • Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques for success. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, taking ownership of your sales territory and adapting to changing market dynamics. • Analytical and strategic thinking, with a knack for identifying business growth opportunities and devising plans to capitalize on them. • Effective communicator and strong interpersonal skills. • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. • Motivated, driven and results-oriented.
