Description

• Focus on selling feed and related products. • Evaluate existing feeding programs and recommend improvements. • Conduct up to 25 farm calls per week. • Develop new prospects and make sales cold calls. • On-farm interaction in all weather types for evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field strongly desired. • Candidates with a pending bachelor’s degree or proven sales and industry experience may be considered. • Basic command of making nutritional and feeding recommendations to equine enthusiasts. • Understanding of equine, management practices, and nutritional guidelines. • Work/life experience in management and care of horses. • Competent in providing accurate feeding and management recommendations. • Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office and ability to be trained on Salesforce.
