• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field • 15+ years’ experience leading the business-development function for a primarily government-contracting organization • Extensive existing relationships with both clients and strategic partners working at or with CDC, CMS, or other HHS agencies • Proven record of building successful strategies to generate year-over-year growth for an organization • Experience building sustainable-growth strategies for an organization rapidly outgrowing the small-business designation • 10+ years’ experience working within the healthcare industry, preferably working as a government contractor supporting HHS agencies • Excellent communication, leadership, and people-management skills • Willingness to dig into the weeds to solve problems, with a path to build capacity over time in-team • Strong understanding of healthcare-industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics • Knowledge of federal contracting regulations that may affect business-development strategy
