Description

• About Ledger Investing: Transforming insurance risk financing via an online marketplace. • About the Team: Operates at the intersection of finance, insurance, and technology, managing casualty insurance-linked securities. • About the role: Originate and structure Casualty ILS transactions, developing innovative reinsurance solutions for capital efficiency. • Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of documents supporting the ILS transaction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Reinsurance Broking, Reinsurance Underwriting, or Ceded Reinsurance with a focus on developing, structuring/underwriting, and the execution of reinsurance programs. • Experience with structured reinsurance, collateralized reinsurance, and/or ILS structures preferred. • Proven ability to originate re/insurer relationships and execute deals on a timely basis. Strong relationship-building skills. • Expertise in presenting to C-Suite Executives. • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and desire to work in a highly collaborative, “start-up” environment. • Expertise in analyzing market trends and providing strategic insights for reinsurance solutions. • Proficient in mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. • ARe, CPCU, and/or Series 7 are preferred.
