• Operational Oversight: Manage the daily operations of data center and cloud services, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of all systems and services. • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ITSM staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. • Service Management: Implement and maintain best practices for service delivery, incident management, and problem resolution, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs. • Asset & Configuration Management: Implement and maintain best practices for recording and monitoring hardware and software assets and the changes to those IT assets. • Capacity Planning: Monitor and analyze resource utilization and performance metrics to inform capacity planning and infrastructure scaling decisions. • Vendor Relations: Collaborate with cloud service providers and third-party vendors, managing relationships and negotiating contracts to ensure optimal service delivery. • Security and Compliance: Ensure that all data center and cloud operations comply with relevant security standards and regulations, implementing necessary protocols to protect sensitive data. • Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for both data center and cloud environments, ensuring rapid recovery in case of disruptions. • Cost Management & Financial Operations: Monitor and manage budgets for data center and cloud operations, optimizing resource allocation and identifying cost-saving opportunities. • Collaboration: Work closely with IT functional support teams, application development, and business to ensure alignment of cloud and data center services with overall business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in data center and cloud operations management, with a strong understanding of both environments. • Proven experience leading teams and managing complex operational projects. • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and service management best practices. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail. • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels. • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and experience in ITSM. • Must be able to manage multiple issues simultaneously. • Understanding and appropriately responding to feedback promptly.
