• About Us • LeoLabs is the leading provider of integrated solutions that persistently monitor activity in space to reveal threats to safety and security. • The Events Director will play a key leadership role in overseeing the planning, execution, and management of external events for LeoLabs. • This position will work with the Corporate Affairs team to drive exceptional event experiences that align with LeoLabs’ strategic vision and sales goals. • This role requires a strategic thinker who can make informed recommendations based on resource availability and return-on-investment. • • Duties Include: • Develop comprehensive event strategies that align with overall business goals, branding, and marketing objectives • Manage a diverse portfolio of events, including corporate conferences, trade shows, client events, and virtual experiences • Manage internal event intake/recommendation process • Create and manage trainings for event demonstrations and LeoLabs messaging • Ensure events are compliant with regulations and LeoLabs’ code of conduct • Track event costs, negotiate contracts with vendors, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality • Oversee the end-to-end execution of both live and virtual events, ensuring seamless logistical management, attendee experience, and operational excellence • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for in-person events, and manage risk assessments and contingency planning • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, communications, and product teams to ensure alignment and cohesive execution of events • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and partners • Partner with the Marketing and Communications leads to create and execute pre-event and post-event marketing campaigns that drive attendance and engagement • Partner with the Marketing and Communications leads to create event-specific communications, including invitations, signage, presentations, and post-event follow-up materials • Partner with the Go-To-Market team to manage the scheduling of meetings with customers, potential leads, stakeholders, partners, etc. • Within 1 month, you’ll: • Complete our onboarding program designed to get you up to speed on our business, vision and team • Understand our business - products, customers, market opportunity, business metrics, messaging, positioning • Plan for high visibility events • Within 3 months, you’ll: • Get into full execution mode • Act as primary point of contact for event planning and coordination for both small and large upcoming company events • Own the internal event calendar and track key deadlines and deliverables • Within 6 months, you’ll: • Be the company’s trusted to execute events of the highest quality. • Be able to evaluate events based on the Value Creation Plan and strategic priorities of the company • Recommend and implement overall process improvements for cross-functional information sharing internally (marketing, sales, technical, and leadership teams) • Within 12 months, you’ll have: • Stacked up a series of wins, with more on the way. You’ve planned and managed multiple successful events with high visibility and may begin training other new employees to support similar activities at new offices as we expand our global footprint • (We do not work with outside staffing agencies) • All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. • ITAR REQUIREMENTS • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field • 15+ years of experience in event planning, management, or production, with a focus on large-scale corporate or industry events • Proven experience managing complex events with multiple stakeholders, including virtual and hybrid events • Strong leadership and team management skills • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines and managing budgets • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to think strategically while managing the execution of multiple events simultaneously • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency with event management software and platforms (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, etc.) • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
