📋 Description

• Responsible for overseeing daily operations of the genomics laboratory and leading a team. • Ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency of genomic experiments and compliance with standards. • Direct and manage sample preparation, genomic sequencing, and data analysis. • Implement and optimize sequencing workflows for data generation. • Supervise development and execution of data analysis pipelines and workflows. • Collaborate with bioinformaticians for accurate genomic data interpretation. • Maintain standard operating procedures for genomic experiments and data management. • Manage laboratory equipment, supplies, and resources, including budget oversight.

🎯 Requirements

• Ph.D. in Genomics, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a related field; M.D./Ph.D. preferred. • Significant experience (5+ years) in genomics research, with a proven track record of laboratory management. • In-depth knowledge of genomic sequencing technologies, data analysis, and bioinformatics. • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in genomics, including CLIA and CAP accreditation. • Excellent leadership, team-building, and mentoring skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus.
