Description
• Develop and drive both short-term and long-term strategies for the Switches, Reels, and Sensors product lines. • Ensure alignment with the overall company strategy and business unit objectives. • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to understand the company's vision and strategy, identifying how the product management function can best support and drive these initiatives forward. • Direction for the product management team, providing clear goals, guidance, and mentorship. • Foster a high-performing, innovative team culture. • Confront and resolve performance and operational challenges that impact the product lines. • Drive initiatives to improve process efficiency, product quality, and cost management. • Lead and oversee key projects that significantly influence the business unit’s product portfolio. • Ensure successful execution, alignment with strategic goals, and timely delivery. • Define and implement best-in-class product management processes and standards. • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and challenges in the Switches, Reels, and Sensors product lines. • Oversee the entire lifecycle of the product portfolio, from ideation to end-of-life. • Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure products are developed, launched, and marketed effectively. • Foster strong communication across departments to align product and business unit goals.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. • MBA or advanced degree preferred. • 10+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of driving strategy and operational improvements. • At least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the industrial, manufacturing, or technology sectors. • Strong understanding of Switches, Reels, and Sensors or related product categories. • Experience managing technical product lines in industrial applications is highly desirable. • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic product plans while managing and mentoring product teams. • Experience in partnering with senior leadership to align product initiatives with overall company goals. • Proven experience in identifying and resolving performance and operational inefficiencies. • Ability to drive process improvements that deliver results. • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams including engineering, sales, marketing, and operations. • Experience managing product P&L, including pricing strategies and cost management to meet financial targets. • Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and delivering them on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals
