• LivaNova is leading US Market Access and Reimbursement efforts across its businesses. • The role requires engagement with commercial payers, Medicare, Medicaid, and local MACs. • Focus on educating providers on billing and coding as well as engaging private and public payers. • Develops relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, and state legislators. • Requires travel of about 50%.
• Bachelor’s degree • Advanced degree in health policy, public health, health economics or related field of study preferred. • 7-10 years of experience and track record of success in advocating for improved coverage and / or increased payment rates with US commercial payers, Medicare and Medicaid. • 3-5 years of experience managing people • 7-10 years’ experience advocating to commercial payers, Medicare and state Medicaid plans. • An in-depth understanding of the reimbursement environment to assist customers in navigating coverage and ensuring access to LivaNova technologies. • Experience working closely with marketing and sales organizations. • Excellent understanding of payers, policy developments and implications for LivaNova. • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse portfolio of products and reimbursement needs. • Experience communicating reimbursement and economic information to external stakeholders. • Experience building coalitions and managing projects with external consultants. • Ability to give best-in-class reimbursement advice to customers and internal stakeholders. • Must be self-motivated, passionate, and an exceptional communicator. • Ability to develop and manage multiple projects. • Highly results and action-orientated.
