Description

• Responsible for overseeing successful development and execution of payer contract negotiations • Directs all payer contracting for multiple client partnerships • Establishes and implements long-term goals and high-quality contracting strategy • Helps develop, support, and promote personal growth across the team • Participates in recruiting, succession planning, career development plans, goal setting/review • Provides, develops, implements, and evaluates strategic direction for the department • Guides and participates in high-stakes negotiations with payers • Establishes strong relationships with payer representatives • Evaluates proposed contracts for financial viability and alignment with strategies • Develops performance tracking mechanisms to monitor contract effectiveness

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business, or related field • 15+ years of experience in managed care network development and provider relations/contracting management • Significant people, program, or project leadership experience at an executive level • Expert knowledge Value Based Care Contracting, budget creation/management, resource allocation, and contract/vendor management • Exemplary business acumen, executive presence, and a demonstrated ability to create and enhance strategic relationship • Topnotch communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills • Distinguished ability to impact results in a high-performing and high-growth environment • High-caliber analytical skills with proven ability to identify, develop, communicate, implement, and guide process improvements and strategic initiatives
