β€’ Responsible for overseeing successful development and execution of payer contract negotiations β€’ Directs all payer contracting for multiple client partnerships β€’ Establishes and implements long-term goals and high-quality contracting strategy β€’ Helps develop, support, and promote personal growth across the team β€’ Participates in recruiting, succession planning, career development plans, goal setting/review β€’ Provides, develops, implements, and evaluates strategic direction for the department β€’ Guides and participates in high-stakes negotiations with payers β€’ Establishes strong relationships with payer representatives β€’ Evaluates proposed contracts for financial viability and alignment with strategies β€’ Develops performance tracking mechanisms to monitor contract effectiveness

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business, or related field β€’ 15+ years of experience in managed care network development and provider relations/contracting management β€’ Significant people, program, or project leadership experience at an executive level β€’ Expert knowledge Value Based Care Contracting, budget creation/management, resource allocation, and contract/vendor management β€’ Exemplary business acumen, executive presence, and a demonstrated ability to create and enhance strategic relationship β€’ Topnotch communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills β€’ Distinguished ability to impact results in a high-performing and high-growth environment β€’ High-caliber analytical skills with proven ability to identify, develop, communicate, implement, and guide process improvements and strategic initiatives
