Description

• Architect, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy robust, automated systems that support the organization's mission-critical applications and services • Monitor and maintain the health of our cloud environment by identifying and resolving issues proactively resulting in minimal downtime and incidents • Drive continuous improvement and innovation across our CloudOps and DevOps practices • Participant in the on-call rotation • Leverage industry best practices • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers

Requirements

• 5 + years of AWS cloud experience • 5 + years experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation • 5 + years of production grade coding experience with languages such as Bash, Python and Golang for scripting and automation of services • 3 + years of experience with containerization, the docker ecosystem and related tooling • 3 years of experience with advanced AWS networking technologies such as VPC and Transit Gateway based technologies • Experience with Azure preferred • Experience with Kubernetes technologies and ability to design and diagnose production grade deployments at scale is preferred • A solid grasp of cloud security and best practices and an understanding of compliance standards such as HIPAA and HITRUST is preferred • Strong collaboration and communication skills • Ability to design and present complex topics to the team • Adept at critical thinking and problem solving
