• This is a remote position. • The Account Manager for Nutrients & Minerals offers excellent growth potential both for the business and for the individual who can deliver results in a complex, rapidly changing work environment. • You will manage, develop, and lead sales and market development efforts for your assigned territory, • provide technical and formulation support to the Americas Sales Team, • and lead the development and implementation of sales strategy in the assigned territory. • Foster and create customer loyalty through high professional conduct and practices aligned with core company values. • Develop strong and compelling sales strategies and execution plans for assigned territory on existing and new Minerals & Nutrients products. • Develop, implement, and manage plans to grow sales with existing customers and convert new customers to maximize sales and profitability. • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and pricing by keeping current with market trends, economic indicators, and competition. • Sales territory primarily in California, targeting Dietary Supplement/VMS and Functional Food & Beverage accounts. • Implement programs for “Food Fortification” with Mineral & Nutrient product lines, targeting accounts as directed by leadership. • Develop strong technical knowledge of products offered, including therapeutic benefits and applications. • Monitor and report on activities, providing relevant information to management, including sales call reports and monthly work progress reports. • Establish and maintain membership in appropriate trade associations. • Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures, including the use of safety equipment and promoting a strong safety culture.

🎯 Requirements

• 10 years of experience in professional sales related to specialty ingredients, dietary supplements, food & beverage, human nutrition, or the pharmaceutical industry • Bachelor’s degree • Open to regular travel throughout California – Must be located in CA • Proven sales and negotiating skills, technical expertise, communication, presentation, energy, motivation, and ability to cultivate and maintain relationships • Ability to work independently across a large geographic area • Strong network with brands and contract manufacturers in the Specialty Ingredients, Food & Beverage, and Dietary Supplement industry • Strong leadership, motivational, and presentation skills • Proficient in office equipment and business software • Excellent sales and negotiating skills, communication, presentation, and ability to manage multiple priorities • Undergraduate degree in a business or technical discipline; MBA or other post-graduate degree is preferable • Extensive experience in the specialty ingredients, dietary supplements, food & beverage, human nutrition, or pharmaceutical industry • Strong industry network and ability to leverage existing relationships for market impact • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills with attention to detail and follow-up • Ability to work independently and within team settings • Proficient in typical office equipment, business software, and telephone communication
