Description
• Provides non-clinical, evidence-based peer support services • Guides members in creating Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP®) • Engages members in inpatient settings to facilitate post-crisis planning • Educates providers, supporting staff, members, and families on resiliency and recovery principles
Requirements
• 2+ years experience with child who is or has received services from a child-serving agency for mental health or cooccurring related issues • CPRS/CPS/CPSS/CRPS/PRSS, Peer Specialist a required by state • Must have or be able to obtain the National Peer Support Credential (NCPS/NCPRSS) within one year of hire • Must be a self-identified person in recovery who is a current or former user of mental health/substance use services • Must have a vehicle in good, working condition with the ability to travel within the field regularly • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Product Suite • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
